Daily capture that takes minutes, records that build for years, and decisions backed by numbers.

A permanent record for every animal

Each animal is registered with its tag, breed, date of birth, parentage and purchase or birth cost, and from that point everything attaches to it: lactation numbers, calving dates, dry-off dates, service and pregnancy events, illnesses, treatments and the withdrawal periods those treatments impose. When an animal is sold or culled the record closes with its lifetime yield, lifetime cost and net contribution — which is the only honest basis for judging whether the purchase was a good one.

Yield and feed on the same ledger

Milk is captured per animal per milking, morning and evening, on a fast entry screen or from a milk meter where one is installed. Feed is usually issued to a group — a shed, a pen, a lactation stage — so the system apportions the ration cost across the animals in that group by their intake standard, and adds concentrate or supplement issued individually. Because yield and feed cost sit on the same record, feed conversion is a live figure and a drop in an individual animal's efficiency shows up in days rather than at the end of a lactation.

Alerts that prevent the expensive mistakes

The costly errors in a dairy are missed heats, late pregnancy checks, overdue vaccinations, and milk sold inside a treatment withdrawal period. Each of those is a dated event the system tracks and surfaces on a due console every morning, with the animal, the action and how overdue it is. Milk from an animal under withdrawal is blocked from dispatch entry, which protects the buyer relationship as much as the herd. Breeding intervals, conception rates per bull or straw and calving distribution build up as reports that make the next season's breeding plan an informed one.

That is what makes the lifetime figures meaningful: a heifer that consumed feed for two years before her first lactation shows that investment in her record.

Yes. Dispatch to chilling centres, processors, retail routes and direct customers is recorded with quantity, fat and SNF where tested, rate and buyer ledger posting. Route-wise collection, rejections and rate differences are tracked, and buyer receivables age on the same console as the rest of the business.
